Bernardo Larroudé, located in the north of La Pampa Province, on National Highway Nº188, was founded on April 8, 1908, on territories that had formerly belonged to Marcelo T. de Alvear.
In 1969, after the fruitless effort to obtain drinking water, Bernardo Larroudé´s hot springs emerged to the surface. The therapeutic properties of these waters were effectively used by pioneer settlers to heal different ailments. News received widespread media attention in those days, and soon the town became an oasis for those would later visit it.
Today, our thermal waters comprise a vast and wooded area, provided with grills, rest rooms, housing shacks and restaurant, in addition to the Thermal Center, situated in the core of a 6 ha. Park. Immersion baths, body massage, mud applications (mudpacks) and hydromassage, are some of the services available
The Thermal Center offers tourists, alternative therapies for diseases like: eczemas, psoriasis, acne, degenerative osteoarthritis and arthritis.
Within the premises are the open-air swimming pools, supplied with thermal waters .Its hydrotherapy complex grants immersion baths, single box hydromassage, sauna and jacuzzi. Shacks, restaurant, camping sites, as well as sports and recreational premises complement the offer.
