Located in the exact geographic center of the Republic, La Pampa is one of the youngest provinces in the country as from 1952. Nevertheless, its identity goes back long in History, even Pre-history, its pioneer settlements being dated approximately nine thousand years back. Even if the local territory sets forth as a transitional area among some of the major Argentine regions, due to its landscape, history, culture and calling, La Pampa belongs to and is the head of the Patagonian Region.

The healthy natural environments spread about the wide pampean geography, the richness of its flora and fauna, together with its unusual views allow for a comprehensive development of alternative tourism.

Within an area seven hundred kilometres wide from the East, which by the way is the most populated, developed and profitable region, the major tourist and most populated centers of Argentina are comprised, to which La Pampa is extensively communicated through excellent road networks and ample aerial access, with short haul flights and an International Freight Airport with duty free zone.
